On appropriate a comprehensive administrator

I always wanted, to be a manager and liked to engage in solving complex problems, so I worked hard at my engineering education a person, such as the skills needed to earn a lot of conversion.

I imagined to become a 21st century global manager - a quick learner with an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving, the ability to work outside their area of expertise when necessary and work anywhere in the world, to make decisions quickly and to communicate with any type of person.

I get these skills?

Ideas-gathering phase of the skill-set identified

I spent almost two months on the issues faced by large corporations survey reading reports, studies future trends and many other things to identify what are the skills needed in a global manager. I use LinkedIn, and some of my friends on social media, such as global interdisciplinary skills needed to identify the manager. Here is what I learned:

• 1. Interdisciplinary Studies, the European Parliament took part in the Open Days, to my mind as one of the aspects of the interdisciplinary study program in public policy, I have others.
• 2. Future Trends: Environmental Law and Policy and planning were just some of the trends can be useful to a person, to understand the changing needs of an organization that I identified. 'Big Data' as a trend, later in the project, I also added a discussion on LinkedIn.
• 3. Globalization, cultures and languages, when the words 'global manager' I used to, it was necessary for me to really understand the meaning behind globalization and how to become a global person I could. Denmark was a great positive experience in my life. In my own research, I have found that businesses have failed, and with e-mail communication between people of different nations are confused because they do not understand each other's culture, their history, social customs and the political. Learning different languages to help overcome language difficulties.

Choosing degrees skills

now, you have seen my ambition was too big to fit in the traditional program. In 2012, I did not have enough financial resources to go to a professional education and higher education; I plan to take out a loan.

I had been through the traditional education system; It was unnecessary for me to compete for the division when I was obsessed with developing a set of skills. Exposure to very good business and management with many years of work, it was what I was looking for something very different.

After deep reflection, I decided to create my own way of learning. I was uncertain at first, but the discovery of the MOOC - massive open online courses - after a few months successfully gave me motivation to continue my project.

Check here for a list of the courses we offer.

How is it different?

A 'global manager' I envision is a totally new concept.

Mixing general management concepts, such as international trade, public policy, foreign affairs, culture, language, and in the future with other aspects such as the trend is part of a decision to create a cross.

I also found that 'globalization' concept has been developed and it is not clear that the curricula often lack the culture, may be the most important aspect, even when bringing some sense of these numbers on the balance sheet or to carry out a SWOT analysis of the company's strategy.

I have used all the resources are in the public domain and readily available to anyone. They include the company's annual report, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and so on, and collect data from the car to free resources for students to learn the language or the business of newspapers in eight to 10 different countries around the world on a regular basis to get updates on market trends.

This is very different to other management training programs.

Learn how to make - testing their knowledge in real life

I put a lot of effort to develop practical knowledge that can be used in real-life situations into.

My course projects, volunteering and freelancing activities have taken me in every part of the world, as well as the globalization of Central Asia as a project to improve the competitiveness of Eastern Europe, or taking part in a competition or just to get to my house near the vendor helps to get rid of their debt concerns.

In many ways my learning to keep up-to-date in real terms and internationalized I guess.

Outcomes and next steps

Today, even just reading a headline in the newspaper business, what kind of impact it may have on a particular company or myself that I can develop my thoughts.

To understand the public policy of international trade, I can use my knowledge and I have taken a variety of settings and different cultures around the world the knowledge of business trends, I can easily understand the global impact and can communicate with other people too.

'Imagine the global manager of the 21st century' to my project, suiting my needs and my own personal ambition, though, was a door open to the extraordinary gain was education.

Now, I am looking forward to applying my skills much more real and complex corporate world to prove the truth of my ideas on how to hold.
