Now all of the Netherlands entrepreneurship in education and
vocational training will be compulsory from next year, said senior researcher
Dr. Petra Gibbous. But the content of the different institutions and faculties
- and far too long to integrate entrepreneurship education into the curriculum.
Gibbous Panties, decision support and research for clients in the national and international economic, environment and transport is a researcher for the Dutch company with 150 employees. Based in the Netherlands, in Zoetermeer, the Panties Belgium, Turkey, China, and has offices in Kazakhstan.

Entrepreneurship desirable
According to data from Euro stat, said Gibbous across Europe are a small proportion of people aged 15 to 19 who are self-employed compared to total employment, with the majority of young Italians either by nature or necessity.
In 2014, Italy, 15% of young people in this age group fell by about 8% against the self-employed, the whole of Europe and the Netherlands - where the proportion has been slowly rising over the past decade - and only 3% in Germany.
There is a notable career as an entrepreneur who consider it would be desirable, more young people who are self-employed than that.
49% of people aged 15 to 34 is considered desirable for an entrepreneur, compared to 63% in Italy, the Netherlands and Germany with 31% and 24% of re-drawing the Euro stat figures, in 2012 across Europe.
Some research
Gibbous Panties in entrepreneurship education research projects between 2009 and 2015, in particular, the Dutch government ministries as well as the European Commission and others, entrepreneurship centers' activities and evaluate the impacts.
Among other things, the research found that the Dutch higher education, more and more, entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurship-cycle institutions providing education were more integration.
But it happened Gibbous told the conference, "there is a lot of work to be done."
"Entrepreneurship education is integrated schools and, at the same time, the strategy of the curriculum and admissions into universities and other institutions, we will see."
"There are some difficulties, a lot of learning and teaching institutions are different. Some are offered as majors in entrepreneurial education, others will be offered in the minors, the only extra-curricular activities will be offered as well as others, and some will be offered in summer schools and master classes, and lectures to entrepreneurs the students.
"We notice that it is important to teach the teachers. Teachers are not the models - models who are entrepreneurs - so if you want students to transfer entrepreneurial knowledge, then you need to be an entrepreneur.
"We have also noticed that some of our country's institutions of higher education teachers selected based on their entrepreneurial skills. So that is why it has become important in the last two or three years, another way of thinking."
We could take a long time to integrate entrepreneurship education into the curriculum, because of budget constraints and lack of academic reluctance to cooperate with each other across disciplines. Institutions are still struggling with this, it is likely that in the Netherlands and elsewhere, said Gibbous.
There were more and more involved in entrepreneurship education for students. Today the Netherlands 5% of all students in higher education are somehow involved in entrepreneurship education. It was also, more attention is being paid to entrepreneurial skills - learning about becoming a start-up or not - "that is, at the same time, a change in our country."
What students say
Gibbous said he requested the investigation Panties what entrepreneurship education, and the word 'entrepreneur' is thought to be associated with such students.
Students who have the word 'entrepreneur', his first with the club was taking the initiative - "This was the most important to a large number of student" is. The second, however, was the opportunity to be on the alert, "and, in my opinion, that is what entrepreneurship is all about."
Students also thought of planning and organizing, and the owner of a company, "especially in the mindset, and not just to be an entrepreneur", and being the boss of your fifth year.
Panties research found that students who have a positive impact on entrepreneurship education.
For example, nearly 75% of people surveyed said they were more aware of the significance of entrepreneurship, more than 65% of entrepreneurs believe they have prepared in the future, more than 55% thought it would be like to be more positive about entrepreneurship, and more than half felt more inclined to be an entrepreneur and entrepreneurial behavior Show more.
Action debate
Gibbous highlighted the contradiction between what students say and what they do. "In the Netherlands 31% of students say that they want to become entrepreneurs, as well as research, only 8% of entrepreneurs has become a given. So, it's a huge gap."
To close that gap - more young people to become entrepreneurs who admired - would be required as a condition for creating a stimulating eco-system.
The research, he concluded Gibbous highlight the importance of getting the business, higher education institutions and governments together, "so that together they generate ecosystem"
